How Model & Money researches, writes, checks and corrects what it publishes — including exactly how AI is used.

Who is responsible
Model & Money is written and edited by Sabah Kemal Cansu. He is accountable for everything published here, including the parts drafted with AI assistance.
How AI is used
We use AI tools openly, for the parts of the job they do well:
- Monitoring announcements, regulator releases and filings, and surfacing candidates for coverage.
- Summarising primary sources and producing a first draft with every claim linked to its source.
- Checking drafts for consistency, dates and missing context.
AI does not decide what is published. Every piece is read against its sources, edited, and signed off by a human before it goes live. Each one carries “Kemal’s take”: his own view, written by him. A post cannot be published without it.
Sourcing
- We prefer primary sources: company announcements and documentation, regulator and court documents, filings, and on-the-record statements.
- Every post lists its sources at the end, and key claims link to them inline.
- We do not republish other outlets’ reporting. When a story was first reported elsewhere, we credit and link to that outlet.
- Numbers are reported as stated by the source, with the source named. We say clearly when something is a company claim rather than an independently verified fact.
Updates and corrections
Guides and trackers are living pages. When we change them we update the “Updated” date. If we get a fact wrong we correct it, and for anything material we add a dated note to the piece saying what changed. Send corrections tohello@modelandmoney.com.
Independence
Model & Money is independent. If we ever run sponsorships or affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled, and sponsors will have no say over what we cover or what we say about them. Nothing here is investment, legal or financial advice.
